Drs. Karrels, Lyons and Wason are skilled and experienced dentists who work together to provide the most advanced dental care available in Janesville and the surrounding areas. All three dentists, through their membership in the Rock County Dental Society, Wisconsin Dental Association and the American Dental Association, support the efforts of organized dentistry to promote prevention of dental disease and better oral health for all people.
Dr. Mark Karrels
Dr. Mark Karrels is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. Born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, he moved to Janesville after dental school in 1978. He is married and has three adult children. Dr. Karrels received the 2008 Pyramids of Pride Community Outreach Award from the Wisconsin Dental Association in recognition of his service in starting a free dental clinic for HealthNet of Janesville, Inc. patients in Rock County. Most recently, Dr. Karrels received the 2008-2009 Community Service Award from Blackhawk Technical College for outstanding leadership and significant contribution to the Dental Assisting Program at BTC. He is a two time past president of the Rock County Dental Society and serves as Senior Warden at Trinity Episcopal Church in Janesville. He is co-owner of Luke’s Custard & Deli with his oldest son, Luke. Dr. Karrels enjoys playing tennis (though not quite as well since both knees were replaced), computers and touring the country on his 2003 Screaming Eagle RoadKing motorcycle.
Dr. Tricia Lyons
Dr. Tricia Lyons is a 1994 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. She returned to her hometown of Janesville and became associated with Dr. Karrels in 1995. In 1999, she became a partner and they formed TriMark Dental Clinic. She is a past president of the Rock County Dental Society. Dr. Lyons is married and enjoys travel, the outdoors, fitness and exercise, as well as gardening.
Dr. Tonya Wason
Dr. Tonya Wason is a 2004 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. While in training, she received numerous clinical awards including the Community Dentistry & Dental Public Health Award and was chosen as the best general dentist by the faculty. She enjoys bowling & traveling with her husband, scrapbooking, and her two dogs, Meeko and Ruby. She is a Janesville native.
